Alexis BRUNEL joined his parents, then winegrowers, in Laure-Minervois. He became a winemaker in 2018 by creating the first vintages of Domaine du Siestou on the most beautiful Terroirs of the Minervois.
Syrah, Grenache Noir and Carignan are the main grape varieties.
Due to the location of the estate wedged between the first limestones of the Causses and the quaternary stony terraces of the Ognon and Argent Double rivers, plot selection was obvious to express the different facets of its "native" grape varieties. This expression of the terroir is reinforced by organic farming that respects life, plants, people and their environment.
The vinification of the grapes in the cellar is done as naturally as possible, and the accompaniment of the wine until its maturity, in stainless steel vats or barrels according to its personality.
